i usually go to starbucks and buy breakfast, lunch and a snack. sometimes my bf orders me lunch ( when he remembers), other times i pack leftovers.
i dont have a lunch break and usually work 12 hours straight, so if i dont pick up food before i get in, im screwed

I make a big salad on Sunday and bring the whole container to work and leave in the fridge. I buy frozen grilled chicken strips and keep a few bags in the freezer at work, too. I take a bit of salad, heat up the chicken, and pig out

Doesn't the salad wilt after a few days?
I find that even when I buy bagged salad like the Dole, if I don't eat it in a few days it gets all mushy and slimy

What do you eat for lunch at work?
Weight watcher meals but I'm going to start bringing left overs and soups after my vacation since I'll be doing a frozen IVF cycle next weekend.

I work from home, but my usual lunch is brown rice, Trader Joes cruciferous mix and a protein. I dress it with flax oil and soy sauce and heat it up. Its really good! You can use whatever veggies you like

No -- but if I do cut up cucumbers to put in it, I keep that separate, because that WILL turn the salad more quickly. I mostly have red leaf lettuce, scallions, carrots and peppers....maybe some feta cheese, too.
Also, I have a container that keeps produce fresher, longer. From Progressive, I think. I've had it for awhile and it really does work. I use it for strawberries, too, which would only last 2 days otherwise!

For those that prepare food ahead of time like on Sundays for the whole week and take it with you each day... how do you keep it fresh that long?
