I adore arugula.
Tonite I am making a grilled chicken, argula and romaine salad with craisins, avovado, chickpeas, mushrooms.
also love pecans, walnuts, almonds, apples, feta (might add this tonite  ), blue cheese, shredded cheddar , goat, shaved pecorino/provolone,...come to think of it i like a nice antipasto sala with salami, pepperoni, cheese.. OLIVES, red peppers I could go one forever

My SIL is a health nut and occasionally I'll follow her lead - every weekend she marinates and grills chicken breasts. Then she uses them in her lunch salads all week long. I buy the clamshell salads - whatever is on sale - but usually a spring mix or power greens to try and get my dark greens in. Then I add:
grape tomato
cucumber
sunflower or pumpkin seeds
crumbled feta or blue cheese, if I have it
avocado
leftover quinoa from dinner the night before
black olives
some combo of the above, I try not to add too much

I like a simple, filled salad. Usually chopped romaine, red onion, bacon bits, shredded cheese of some sort, carrots, cucumber bits, fried onions, etc. I usually skip the croutons if I have the friend onions.
Other salads I enjoy are with feta and candied walnuts with dried cranberries.

What do you like in a salad?
Have you tried the lean cuisine salad maker...I got it at Target for about $2 and all you add is your greens
The Chinese Asian Chicken Salad was pretty good
When I make my own I just use what is in the fridge which is usually the stuff I make juice with (spinach/kale, carrots, chopped apple slices, oranges, almonds) I love anchovies so I usually throw some in too and have an addiction to the Goddess dressing from Traders

My main go to salad is kind of boring:
Iceberg lettuce
Grilled chicken
Roasted red peppers
Maple Grove Wasabi Dijon Dressing
Some other options:
Baby spinach
Crumbled blue cheese
Craisins
Red wine vinaigrette
Mixed lettuce
Carrots
Tomatoes
Grilled chicken
Fresh mozzarella
Balsamic dressing

What kind of dressing is it?
I love Goddess dressing too, but I've only ever had Annie's organic Goddess. It has tahini in it, which gives it a kick!
