What do you love about your job

1. I can wear jeans and a t-shirt
2. Work emails are signed "xoxoxo"
3. Get hugs and kisses and no sexual harassment
4. Lots of fun, quirky, creative types
5. No desk, excel only when I'm being anal, not required
6. Going out for a drink with everyone, wine backstage
7. Get to bring people into the spectacle
8. Lots of responsibility, opportunity to be a leader
9. Lots of love going around.

i'm a speech therapist at a school..
i love
-the schedule
-the laid-back, "fun' days at school
( halloween party/parade, talent show day, day before christmas break)
-the kids keep work interesting and make the day go faster- i'm not just sitting at a desk all day

I like that I work 10 minutes from my house.

I work for great people.

I am paid nicely.

They are understanding if I need to take time off for being sick or whatever.

I have a great vacation/benefit package.

1. I work less than 10 miles from home

2. My Boss is flexible whenever I need time off.

3. You can come in 10-20 min late and leave a few min early during the day - or everyday, and no one cares cause they do it.

4. Friendly atmosphere.

5. Great state benefits!!!

I'm a Funeral Director.....and the things I love about my job are:

1. the times I get to help people remember the good things about their loved one. I have a few peoms I like to read for families when I say prayers for them & most times people smile as I read them!!

2. Getting the chance to erase the months & years of sickness on people. When a family comes in & says how beautiful their Mom looks is such a great feeling for me

3. Would it be wrong to say I like being out driving the hearse, going to church & cemeteries so I do not have to be in an office ALL day?!!!!

1. I can wear scrubs everynight.
2. I work overnights so I don't have to deal with phones, boses, etc...
3. I only work 4 days a week, so I get Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until 9:30pm off.
4.I work 5 minutes from my house.
5. I don't work holidays.

There is alot of cons though.

I have three jobs and I love all three equally:

My main M-F job is a Medical Assistant Instructor. I love being able to pass on the knowledge I have and helping people succeed with their life goals. Nothing is more gratifying than teaching anatomy & physiology and watching a student go from pulling out their hair and then suddenly "getting it".

My Saturday p/t job I work in the field as an MA. I love reinforcing what I teach all week. It keeps my skillls sharp. Also the bond that you make with people that you see regularly is incredible.

My Sunday night/spare time job I work on an ambulance. Nothing beats the feeling of helping people in their most critical desperate time. Sometimes it can be annoying when you get abused (ex: someone calls an ambulance b/c they think they will get seen faster if they come with the red lights and sirens~so not true by the way). But it is what it is and Ive done it for almost 11 years now.

1. Flexibility if I need to work from home.

2. Ability to help people financially when they're having a hard time (disability, rehab, um jail time )

3. hearing some of the best employment stories (which can't be repeated in the office but are still hysterical).

4. satisfaction of getting my job done after hours, on the train, etc.

5. my boss is a great guy to work for.

1. I come and go as I please - like today I walked in at 10, i'll be out of here no later than 4:59. I can take as long a lunch as I like

2. I LOVE my boss

3. My own office

4. laptop/bberry - can work from home if nec.

5. unlimited sick and personal

6. my boss doesn't make me put in for my vacation time, so it keeps adding up.. I think all added up I took like 5 weeks in '06 and still managed to carry over the max of 5 days to '07.

7. I have daily entertainment from my nut job of an assistant.

8. EXPENSE ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!
