what do you think of Old Navy clothes for DD?

It seems like a few of my friends and family swear by Old Navy for cute clothes for DD - the few times Ive looked there I dont see much AT ALLChat Icon Maybe Im going to the "wrong" Old Navy's? The ones in Bayshore and Seldan had nothing very nice IMO....???

Well, first of all, I think online has the best selection from Old Navy. That being said, I have had nothing but headaches with them for clothes for Ava. They fall apart so easily on us and their sizes are so irregular. I never know what size to get for her. Some stuff is huge in 18-24 months, some stuff she's stuffed like a sausage in 18-24 months. I'll buy random stuff on clearance there, but that's it. I love target for everyday stuff. I wash and wash and wash their clothes and have never had a problem with a single item.

The one by my house in Queens never has much of a selection, but I haven't really had a problem with the quality whenever I've bought items there.

I agree with the sizing, but NOT the quality, which I think is really good.
I have some pants that are snug and some that are loose and they are the same size.
Also Baby Gap, I find runs very small.

Every single thing Diane said goes for us as well.

I really think it has to do with how your DS is build. Steven has short legs, so everything is tight in the belly and way too long on him. He's usually OK in 18-24 months, but with Old Navy...the sweats are waaay too long and the jeans are too short! But we just roll them up and it works for us.

I love Old Navy, I always find cute stuff. I don;t have a problem with the quality either, although she has so much clothes no one thing gets too much of a workout.

I love there clothes, and the prices's are great, plus they grow out of there clothes so fast. I was there the other day to and saw nothing, but I also went inbetween season wear, I would wait till they get more fall/winter stuff out.

I bought a few cute t's from them this summer and they got holes in them after a few washings(like moth holes). I wash in cold water & a gentle cycle.

I was just there yesterday looking for my daughther and son and I really didn't see anything that caught me eye. I never really have much luck unless I am looking for plain t-shirts.

Re: what do you think of Old Navy clothes for DD?

I personally love Old Navy for clothes. You can always get great stuff on clearance, they have cute "trendy" outfits, and my daughter is tall and thin and their sizes do run a bit thin IMO, so they are fine for us.

The one in Sayville has a good selection, as do the ones out here in Nassau County. My favorite in Nassau is at the Source mall.
