Mostly day camp - I went to a few - art, band, tennis
Then when I was old enough, i worked at a pre-school/camp and then gapkids

12- Beach, Greenport, Family Pool.
13 & 14- Babysat, Beach, Greenport, Family Pool and Friends pools as well.
My family loves Greenport!
Oh yeah..14..Started going to Band Camp as well.

Those were the three summers that I spent at sleepaway camp for the month of August. I went to Cedar Lake Camp in Milford, PA.

Every year my parents took us and my cousin to Central House Resort in sunny Beach Lake, PA 
The following week my uncle took his family and me to Villa Roma in Calicoon, NY ... totally like the dirty dancing movie! LOL
Otherwise, a lot of hanging out in the nieghborhood with the neighborhood kids, staying over with family in NJ or LI.

12 & 13: Stayed at home and went in the pool every day. Played with the other kids on the block.
14: Worked at Dix Hills Golf Course selling beer and snacks by the 5th hole. I did that every summer for the next 5 yrs or so.

12...I worked at the candy store across the street and did my paper route, we did go to my Nana's house in NH for a week though
13...I worked at NCC and paper route...and didn't want to go to NH, wanted to stay and hang with my friends
14...I worked at the Nassau Library System and got school credits.

Most days my best friend and I would go to Prospect Pool in East Meadow and check out guys If we weren't there, we were walking around town or going to Adventureland. Some nights we would go roller skating at Levittown Roller Rink.
If I wasn't doing that, I would be riding my bike around town with my other friend Mary.
