What is considered a high temp. for a 7 month old?
Ava is sick and has a temp of 100.7 and my mother is making me freak out telling me that's too high for her. I know it's not, but what's considered high?

I'm no MD but I don't think that's high at all. I would probably give tylenol and see if it breaks. If there were other symptoms I'd call my ped

I was told not to even give tylenol or motrin unless it is over 101.
No need to freak out!

That is really not high at all for a 7 month old. Don't panic. If it's over 101 tomorrow I would call the Dr. Remember, temps are usually higher at night also. to Ava (and Mommy!)

Re: What is considered a high temp. for a 7 month old?
Not an MD but that's definitely not considered high. Fevers tend to go up at night too. So if it's 100.7 during the day, you can expect at least 102 during the night.
