What is so great about the Citi Mini Stroller?
I really don't mean that to sound sarcastic, I'm really just oblivious about the whole thing. I hear everyone loving that they're getting it, but I'm wondering how it's different than a regular stroller...
TIA!
ETA... does it take the place of a stroller? Is it just for walking super fast, like a Jogging Stroller? Do you get one of these AND a regular stroller? Does it have storage space?

From what I've seen it is decently light and it closes super fast - 1 hand close, you just pull it up from the seating part and bam - it's closed and ready to go in the trunk!
I've also heard from some people that it has a really good sunshade (size-wise).

this is my absolute favorite item i registered for....u have to see it in person to understand.....it folds with one hand, is super light, and really easy to maneuver....i would highly recommend going to buy buy baby- the whole stroller department staff was extremely helpful and we spoke to 3 different people all of which who recommended the citi mini....hth

It's nice and light for what it is, can close with one hand, can have infant adapter...for people who have to open/close and move the stroller a lot (ie. in and out of the car), these things seem important...
eta. it's also highly rated

As many of the other girls said....the excitement over this stroller is that it is very lightweight, opens and closes very very easily (it's dummy proof lol) and is compact. They have a bunch of accessories you can get to go with it, like a cooler bag, cup tray for you, a belly bar or food tray for the baby and it has a piece that allows you to use it with your infant/snap and go car seat. It also holds the kid up to a pretty big weight.
When I registered this is what I registered for:
1. The city mini stroller with accessories and adaptor for the snap and go car seat
2. A snap and go stroler (it's just the base of the stroller and allows you to click in the car seat). It's more compact then the city mini and is good if you're going to the store or running errands. You'd use the city mini if you were going walking or out for a longer period of time
3.I also registered for a maclaren umbrella stroller which is more compact and lightweight (most are under 9 lbs) and you use it when the baby is a little older. Again good for running errands....

We bought our city mini after we had our first child. It is absolutely the easiest stroller to fold. It's also easy to push and a good stroller all around.
We weren't that excited about the city mini when I was just pregnant. We got the orbit as our main stroller. The City mini was so much more convenient and easier to use that we retired the orbit and never looked back.
Now I'm struggling choosing a double stroller because we've been spoiled with the convenience of the city mini.

If you're ready for a double stroller you should definitely get the city select. It's amazing as a double stroller and just as easy to use as the city mini. Plus what I liked best is it has a stadium seating feature so you can still bring it in stores and fit down aisles and the babies both have a view. :)
