Re: What is your next home project?
I would love to hang curtains. Actually I would love to paint too but DH doesnt want to. Our house is new and he is content with our white walls. But if I had the money I would have an interior decorator come in and just asses our pictures, etc and help make it look prettier. Right now I feel like we just hung random pictures all over the place and it urks me!

Re: What is your next home project?
To fill up our two guest rooms....right now they are empty. The good thing is we are taking my old bedroom set, so that will go in one room. In the other my parents have a day bed in storage so i am taking that from them.

Re: What is your next home project?
Here's what I want to do:
1. Put down new mulch in the front garden. 2. Have a screen door installed. 3. Fix the Garage Door so it's quieter. 4. Take down the pool/deck/swingset in the backyard. 5. Repaint the remaining deck. 6. Buy a patio set. 7. Put a fan in the dining room 8. Redo the bathroom (hopefully in the fall/winter)

Re: What is your next home project?
As of right now, my project is trying to whiten the grout in the bathroom. I've tried everything, and I think it's a hopeless case.
I even just tried Peroxide and cream of tartar and nada!

Re: What is your next home project?
there is soooo much we would love to do to this house, but since we're only renting, it would be a waste of time. Like we always talk about if we were to buy it, we'd tear down a wall to expand one of the bedrooms, and how we'd renovate the basement, etc, etc, etc. We like this house a lot and can certainly afford to buy it, but we don't want to stay here in Colorado so that would be the worst move. Can't wait to be closer to NY when we can purchase our own home.
but as for THIS house - i think all we want to do next is get a good grill so that we can set up a fun BBQ spot for the Summer. We definitely have a big enough yard. (i can't wait)

lol. That's still better than what we had to deal with when first moving into our house. It only had a BATH TUB. No Shower! How does anybody live like that??? I mean, seriously! So for the first couple of weeks, me & DH actually had to JUST take baths and I hated it so much. Sitting in your own filth? Yuck (even tho I was never THAT dirty, but you know what I mean!)
I was soooo happy when DH built us a shower. Life has been a lot happier for me. lol.
