Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
While we have only used our china a handful of times, i totally don't regret registering for it. I figure its something that I would never get at any other time in my life, and i wanted something classic and simple that would last through the years. Unfortunately the pattern has been discontinued, but we have 10 place settings so i think we're ok
We got a vegetable steamer, and i have every intention of using it.. but i haven't yet! i think i'm slightly intimidated by it The Wok too.. we used it once or twice but i can't remember the last time we did.

our china & stemware. not that I don't love it, but we have not used it once in three years. Most of it is in our one glass upper cabinet in the kitchen, but the rest of the stemware and silverware and platters are in the cabinet over the frig. Such a waste of great storage space over the frig, but then again, I don't know what else I would put in there and not forget about it. Otherwise we use everything else.
this is why i registered for casual china - so we can use everyday - i have yet to meet a person who has used there china more than once
Me!!! I use my china as much as I can!

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
I love my china and stemware, even if it mostly stays in boxes. I know that one day, I'll have a place to put it and will use it.
I don't really have many regrets, b/c we needed everything, but there are a couple of things I have only used once or twice, like our electric wok, veggie steamer, and coffee maker (but it's good when we have company).

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
china. I liked the pattern, but it just wasn't my style (and no one pointed it out to me)
I returned the serving pieces to Fortunoffs and bought patio furniture with it.
I now will sell the place settings to Replacements.

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
We were pretty good at registering. One thing I don't regret, is not registering for china. I knew we would never use it and it would be stored.

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
Dyson. My aunt & uncle bought it for us , they are very generous, and while we use it a lot I feel like it is overpriced for what it does.
It makes me feel bad that they spent so much money on something we don't love

You are right. I sooo regret it. I am never going to use it. It upsets me to see it knowing I have no desire to use it.

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
Lord, feels like everything. Got married in March of 08 and still in the boxes are: food processor kitchenaid stand mixer wok set 12 champagne flutes quesadilla maker
There's more I just can't think. If I could do it over I would have registered for 10 sets of sheets and an extra set of everyday silverware and plates.

China and Stemware - I've used it here and there, but it's a total and complete waste IMO

I have a glass one from Crate and Barrel that my Mom (who insisted on the China & Stemware) was like W T F are you going to do w/ that??
It glass, and informal and I actually use it every single day - it's on my table in the kitchen w/ brownies, muffins whatever -

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
I think it is funny that the most popular regret is china/stemware, but at the same time a popular regret is NOT registering for china/stemware.
Even though I will hardly use it I registered for china becasue I knew that if I didn't it was something I would NEVER buy for myself. I am lucky enough to have it on display now, but it is more of a decoration then anything else.

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
My toaster oven, it cost someone $100 and I used it maybe 5 times. Now I'm selling it at a garage sale this weekend. I'll be lucky if I get $10 for it

So funny because I use my toaster oven every single day, sometimes more than once a day, always have though, even growing up.

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
its amazing the differences!!
I use my toaster oven daily sometimes more than once!
There is so much I still have in boxes at my mom's because I am still in a small apartment. It will be like my shower all over again when I get a house!
I know I will not use china often but I think at least once a year and I know I'd never buy it for myself so so far glad I registered for it.
I regret NOT registering for towels. My mom told me I'd buy towels the rest of my life not to 'waste' a gift on it. I've been married a few years now and still never bought towels (all hand me downs) I want nice towels!

I'm on the same page with the above poster in regards to my china and I received all 12 settings plus the extras like the coffee pot, sugar bowl, gravy bowl etc. I have pretty much used everything that I got. I actually wished that I had registered for more serving platters. I feel like you never have enough of them.

China!
I have never and probably will never use it! I am more of a use stuff that can go in the dishwasher type of girl.
As long as the food tastes good - the fancy dish doesn't really matter to me

Re: What is your one bridal registry regret?
Listening to my mother and not registering for china. I am getting my grandmothers, but it's not even close to my style.
