What kind of alcohol for an at home christening party?
DH and I dont drink, so we dont want leftovers. How do we buy the alcohol without spending too much $$$$? Most people will probably drink wine. Any ideas on what we should do? Or what we should buy?
ETA: There will probably be approx 30-40 adults drinking

You can get a few cases of beer (if they drink alot of beer, you can get a partyball; it may be more cost efficient and you return the partyball to the distributor), some bottles/boxes of red and white and how about doing a punch?
I really am no help BTW, my family are big drinkers, so the alcohol is like the main part of the party lol

I would just get the liter bottles of white, red & zin for wine and then a couple of cases of beer (a 2 for 1 ratio of light beer to regular). Stick with the basics and offer your last guests the option to take it home with them.
