I have a Midland accent, which is about right because a lot of people don't think I am from LI. I have the non-accent accent.

Northeast. I like how they use my name a couple times as an example. My name is not Don..Its Dawn!!! I have heard people pronounce it "Don" before.

Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington. if you've ever journeyed to some far off place where people don't know that Philly has an accent, someone may have thought you talked a little weird even though they didn't have a clue what accent it was they heard.

this was right on for me!!! it gave me the " philadelphia" accent... and i grew up in south jersey, right outside philly 
and its funny what it said about it " if you've ever been to a place where people didn't think that philly had its own accent, people may have thought you talked a little funny, but had trouble figuring out exactly what kind of accent you have."
and tahts sooo funny becase when i moved up to north jersey, all of DHs friends would always make fun of the way i said certain words- LOL
Me too, except I grew up in Delaware, where they all made fun of me.

Midland. That makes sense, because most people cannot figure out where I'm from and are often shocked to hear I grew up in New Jersey.
I don't have much of an accent at all. My mom is from PA, maybe I got it from her.

This is a great big "duh":
"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.
I have known all this since the day I was born.
