Re: What kind of car do you drive?

We have a Jetta. There is plenty of room in front with the two car seats and the trunk is huge. I'm able to fit the double stroller and groceries, etc. with no problem.

A 2 door Mercury Cougar. It is a pain in the a$$ to get DS in the back seat of that baby. I have to get in the backseat to put him in.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Chat Icon I still drive my 2 door Saturn that I bought when I graduated college. I have to partially climb in to get DD seated. Usually to take her out I just reach over from the front seat and bring her out the front with me. Not sure how I will continue to do this with 2, but we'll see!

Honda CRV - LOVE it! Got it 2 mos before my first DS and now have 2 car seats in it and still love it. Roomy without being enormous, sit up high but feel like you're driving a car. Highly recommended!

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

jaguar s type. DH's one big slurge for himself right before we decide TTC.

Bad timing because he loves the car but it is definitely not baby-friendly.

We have a BMW and Jeep Liberty. I must say, I wish I had a bigger SUV....it's kind of cramped in the back seat! And to be honest DS still has yet to drive in the BMW!!

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

I have a Jeep Commander that I loved until I found out I was having another baby (4 total, my DH has 2 boys) So, we are going to trade it in for either a Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna or a Nissa Quest. Im so sick of everyone being packed in and not having any room, so minivan it is!

Maybe I should take my response back...I love my Jeep too.....and thinking about it, a bigger SUV might be a PITA Chat Icon

My girlfriend owns the large type Hummer, she had twins and would have to launch the infant carriers in the base. She's a tiny girl too. Chat Icon

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

We also have an '08 Nissan Rogue, but it's fine for us right now. We have no issues with space at this point. We'll have it for about 6 months when the new baby comes and it will be a little cramped. I think we may get a minivan.

Volvo XC90. Lots of room and the trunk space is great--comes in super handy. If we have mor ekiddies I would still want it sicne it has the 3rd row option.

BMW X5

I love it, but wouldn't say it's that fantastic for kids. DD constantly kicks the back of my seat and the 3rd row is basically not usable.

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

I drive an Altima and it works well for the 3 of us. It's amazing on gas and has a good amt of trunk space. I'm not sure how tight it'll get once #2 comes along. My lease is up fairly soon so we'll evaluate getting something like a Honda Pilot or 4Runner. The Altima's worked well for me b/c I'm not the best/most comfortable driver. After living in DC through college and Forest Hills for 4 yrs after without a car, I'm just now getting used to driving again - so when I got this car, I stuck to something smaller to get reaquainted with the road.

We have an 03 Jeep Liberty.

I think once your DD is forward facing, you won't have the same problems you have nowChat Icon

We also have an 87 Mustang with T-Tops (guess whose car that is) and we have a seat in there too...and DS is very comfy in it!

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

We have a Honda CR-V, it fine for now, but if we have another kid it will be really tight. DH is 6'3" and sits in the passenger seat comfortably.

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

Kia Sedona minivan-love minivans, only drawback is we should have gotten the bigger version.

Our day to day care is our old Nissan Sentra-it's small but great on guess and will probably run forever.
