Re: What kind of kid do you have?
I have serious issue because I don't have a girl. My boys are dressed and coiffed at all times. I know my days are numbered with this, so I'm going to do it until they force me to stop. Maybe if I had a girl to primp every now and then I wouldn't be so anal.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
I always try to keep DD looking clean and put-together. She has a TON of clothes, so, that helps. Plus, her hair is so long, it has to be tied back to stay out of her eyes. I also keep extra clothes in the car in case she gets dirty at all. I'm neurotic.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
Well, since we don't go out and see everyone very often, I like to dress him up and be matchy when we go out. At daycare and at home, it's whatever's comfortable. I am guilty of trying to match his bibs to what he's wearing cause it really bothers me when he's wearing blue and has a bright yellow bib on when there's no yellow on his outfit...or wearing green with he fire engine red bib.

I feel that when we leave the house, she looks put together and neat but within minutes she looks like a rag-a-muffin...and then I wonder why I bothered.

Sorry I have to admit I am the complete opposite. We do bows and matching outfits and shoes.
Same here. MOF My DH is neurotic with the bows. If I leave one out he goes and gets a matching one

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
My son is very preppy. I dont let him out of the house in mismatched or stained clothes, he only wears name brand clothes and sneakers. But thats just me

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
Well, I can only speak right now, being that we still have a lot of clothes Cailen received as gifts, and he is still a baby... I dress him "up" a bit - jeans, cool t-shirts, overalls, and matching socks... but when he gets older, and will be more mobile, he defintiely may be on the messy side, and as we have to buy him more and more clothing on our own, things will get a lot less fancy!

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
The pig pen category and fine with it. He's so cute clean or dirty but he's not the best dressed and he gets so dirty. He's happy that way and I try to keep him clean but.....
He's also in the bruiser category. He has scars from falling and scratches, bumps bruises. He's a boys/boy.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
I put Talia and myself in the same category - Almost put together. It's like we have the clothes - we have the accessories, but we are never totally put together - does that make sense?

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
I like to dress Noah up in trendy clothes, I figure that I am living vicariously through him. I would want my husband to dress the way I dress Noah (bar the pirate shirts of course) but I usually buy him quite cheap clothes at H&M and Old Navy. I drive a Maclaren, and its lovely and worn in. Noah always looks like he just got off a motorcycle with his windswept hair...I love it that way!
I am the one who looks like a frump!!!

When we are out in public, def both of them are put together and clothes are clean and matching, but in the house during the week when we dont go anywhere, the exact opposite.
Right now Gianna is in faded pink pants that are too small in height for her with a onesie from Mexico my Il's brought back, totally unmatching
Gianna wont' wear bows, and won't let me comb her locks, when I do she messes it up on purpose
This is us. Emma refuses to keep clips or rubber bands in her hair - and if you tyr and brush it, she messes it up on purpose.
And if I try and put a bow in Ellie's hair - Emma will rip it out.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
If its a day like today and we are not going anywhere we are very, very comfy (sweatpants and t shirts).
If we are going out, I try to "dress him up" in nice pants or shorts, sometimes jeans and a cute shirt.
I know when he gets older and wants to run and play in the rain and mud it will definitley be old pants/sweats. Like my parents had for us ...Play clothes and school clothes. That is most likely what I will do with DS.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
We have a mix over here. She usually has her lunch in her hair, but I try to put a cute outfit on her everyday. They're not designer little dresses, more like jeans and converse and a t-shirt, but that's my style. She would never keep a bow in her hair and our stroller looks like something exploded on it. Eh, it's who we are.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
My kids match but I hate super matchy stuff. I like things to casually match but unless it's a special occasion, I don't like the super done look. WHen my DH takes the kids out, they come home looking like feral children. Ragamuffins. Esp my DD bc my DH doesn't fix her hair and she's only 3 so if it's unkempt, she doesn't notice. I at least keep them neat and clean.
Now that they are older I have to let them do their own thing sometimes. My DD likes to dress herself and comes up with some interesting looks. Depending on where we are going, I will leave it or encourage her into a different outfit.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
I guess it depends on where we are going. Alia is dressed nicely but casual, unless we are going to a party or an event.
I definitely think she is going to be a tomboy because she hates having stuff on her hair.

Jared always has a put together outfit. In the winter, his put together outfits consists of sweats. Hey...they match at least.
My stroller is average...

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
Both boys always have matching outfits, I even go as far to color coordinate their clothes when we go out sometimes. Their everyday summer clothes usually consist of a t-shirt/jeans/shorts or rompers for Jayden. The dressy clothes is only for when we go to church.... My mom purchases more than half their clothes using her JCPenney discount. She sends a box of clothes every two months or so.
Our stroller is nothing fancy, just a Graco duo glider.

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
Generally Ella is dressed nicely in a cute outfit. Everyday loungewear is comfy & casual, but cute and coordinated without stains.
How long she stays clean and neat depends on where we go, who's watching her and what she's eating.
She has way too many clothes to not be dressed nicely (thats assuming *I* dressed her. Al's selection of "outfits" border more on ragamuffin)

Re: What kind of kid do you have?
Well, we have a fancy stroller. DD has such long hair, she needs a bow, barette, pony tail or pig tails. If not, she can't see And I get a ton of clothes from my sister whose daughter dresses better than I do
