What percentage of your clothes are designer?

Not like Gap, or Ann Taylor...but big name designers?

Mine is not much...probably 1-2%. I'm working on it though.

Re: What percentage of your clothes are designer?

I mostly buy designer bags, shoes, and jeans. Unless I see an AMAZING deal on anything else I shop at normal stores.

None. I just cant' spend that kind of money on clothes. Being a mom changes everything but I'm OK with that.

Re: What percentage of your clothes are designer?

VERY little of it. I don't have a lifestyle or career that lends itself to designer clothing.

When you say designer, I'm assuming you mean folks like Dior, Valentino, St. John, Missoni, Chloe, D&G, etc.

I have none. I'm just too big for designer duds.

(I don't count my Rock & Republic jeans as designer.)

None. For the average person to wear them is just pretty silly, IMO.

Oh, I don't snub the Gap at all. I have lots of Gap clothes. But they are pretty affordable, and don't last me long. And by designer I also mean Rock and Republic, Calvin Klein, etc. The last shirt I bought was a Target. I was just curious. My 1% of designer clothing is literally 1 Michael Kors sweater that I own.

well, if you're counting rock and republic as designer than a lot of my clothes are designer, but to me true designer clothing is who chatham-chick mentioned above, in which case i have none...just a bag and some shoes.

Re: What percentage of your clothes are designer?

aside from shoes and bags I have some Dianne Von Frustenberg - a dress, skirt ( for 70% off at bloomies) and shirt, and Marc Jacobs

otherwise my clothes range from Target and old navy - to BCBG, theory and Laundry

most of the higher end stuff was purchased on sale- but I don't have any "designer" like Gucci clothes

I buy what I like regardless of the name on the lable-

I know what you mean by Gap not being designer. I should edit my answer...I have a few designer pieces, but I didn't pay designer prices Chat Icon . But the person whom I'm talking about seriously won't step foot into the Gap, Banana, etc. And buying clothes at Target??? Never. I think she has ONLY designer. Chat Icon

I have a few Versace suits that I don't wear anymore but won't part with (they were when Gianni was still alive Chat Icon)

so if that counts, that's all I have.

I usually shop at banana for the majority of my work clothing, but have some pieces of designer dudes--if you consider theory, laundry and marc jacobs designer, then designer jeans, and a few shoes and bags.

Same here...I have a lot of Juicy, True Religion, DVF stuff like that. As far as Gucci and Chanel level designers I just have bags and shoes.
