What percentage of your salary...
Do you put into a retirement fun? (403b, 401k, IRA- whichever ones you have). and does your employer contribute?

We both put 10%.
I'm not sure what his union contributes to 401(k) but my company only matches 25 cents on the dollar for the first 7%.

I have a pension and an annuity that I am not allowed to conrtibute to, it is funded by my employer. I'll see what FH contributes, and vote based on that.

7% to a 403b and another 4% to a regular pension. My employer does not contribute.
DH has a good deal- he only has to put in 3% (also to a 403b) and his employer puts in 11%.

I put 9% into 401k and my employer matches 6%.
I also put money into a Roth IRA when I have spare $$ around.

0% for me since I am a SAHM. When I was working I put 6% and my employer matched 6% plus, employer also contributed 5% to a pension plan. So I was basically getting 17% per year. Now that I don't work DH does 10%.

Dh puts an insane amount into his 401K ... somewhere around 12-15% or maybe more (since our expenses are at a minimum these days, he figured he'll do it as long as he can). I believe his employer does not match that, they might put in somewhere up to 7%
I put in 5%... which is matched by my employer

Currently 28% 
I got a raise in September and I decided to max it out for the year - so I figured out what I needed to do that. I don't even miss it most of the time.

I put in 15% and DH maxes out but that will end soon if we buy the house. That number will come down a whole lot. We figured let's do it while we can - DH is concerned about retirement...40 some-odd years from now. But he's right - I just like to tease him.

i put in 6% my company matches up to 12%, i think. chris only has his retirement fund, not 401k, i don't know what percentage of his check goes into that

wow! some of you have Awesome employer contributions!!
i'm not contributing until Dec... but then i put in 6%, my employer puts in 2% and they also contribute to an annuity on their own.

I contribute 6%. My company contributes 3%
Can I just tell you...I got my quarterly statement and in the last 3 months, I earned a $616
return on my contribution
but, I'm 100% allocated in my company's own stock (which is NOT safe, as we all know)
