What should I expect at my 1st doc appointment?
this is my 2nd time around but I cant remember. What do they do at your first appointment?
Do they do an internal sonogram?

Blood work, BP check, wt check, test urine.
Depending on how many weeks you are some doctors dont do a sono, some do it all depends. If you are getting a sono, then its internal, and you should drink alittle bit so you bladder is full.

My first appt was at 7w5d, and I had an internal sono...got my first pics of the kidney bean!
Also I was weighed, lots of blood taken, urine sample, and pap smear, and question and answer period w/ the doctor. When I scheduled the appt they called in a prescription for pre-natals, but if you don't have them yet, they would give it to you then.
