What size follicle is considered mature?
Is there an ideal size follicle to trigger?

it depends on your protocol.
from what i remember, non-medicated cycles mature is like 21-22mm+
clomid/femara cycles are something like 20mm+
and injectable cycles can be something like 18mm+
if you are triggering i believe 18mm+ is OK because the trigger itself will help mature the eggs beforee release since it happens about 34-36 hours later.

My RE said (when she was tracking me) that she likes to wait until 20 mm. She tracks with bloods and sono's. One morning, she measured a 17 and then she called me that night and said my bloods were showing a spike in FH? LSH? so she had me do the HCG trigger that night. HCG was the only med I did.
