What table foods (not pureed) has your 8-9 month old had so far?
Went to 8 month appt, and ped said I could move to table food, all except a few...which she named, etc.
He has had little pieces of eggplant parm, mac and cheese, zucchini, various steamed veggies, and chicken.
What else have you given your dc's? Do you just give them what you make for dinner for yourself and DH?
How about ice cream (not chocolate, that was on peds list of No's)

We are just starting table food, to start I am doing things like cut up pieces of cheese, pear, peach & avocado to get him used to chewing and then I will add pasta.

Dd eats everything except honey and nuts. She eats what we eat. She loves ice cream and chocolate for special treats. She only has two teeth but eats very well. I am also cutting down the bottle and she is almost completely on a straw sippy.

DD doesnt go until she is 9 mo but I started giving her those Gerber puffs, she tasted a beet, mango, vanilla ice cream, and the other day I let her have the end of an italian bread...she doesnt have teeth yet so I just let her suck on them

DD has had pasta, bread, chicken, meatballs and other things that we have eaten. I always have a little plate of pureed veggies on the side because it just takes forever to feed her table foods and I want to make sure she's eating enough. I will probably stop doing that soon.

I gave him ice cream. even chocolate, but that wasn't on my peds list.
I would just give him what we were eating, except for meat which I haven't introduced yet.
just cut it up into pieces your baby can handle. I didn't shy away from seasoning AT ALL. just heat-no chiles or anything like that. but all else is fair game.
have fun with it.

DS turned 10 months yesterday but everything is the exact same for us except I have not given him chocolate either, if he is like mommy he will love it though!!! oh and he has 4.5 teeth.
