It's like a witch hunt. Yes, fine they are illegal and I agree they do not belong here, but they are here. You can't just hunt them down like savages. Do you know the chaos that would cause?
We are more civil than that. They are human beings just like us and even though they are not from this country they do have our rights until they leave this country.
Let the INS go after them, but students going after them, I'm sorry but I find that repulsive and in bad taste.
The students arent going after REAL illegal immigrants, they are going after other students with tags.
and I dont think illegal immigrants should have the same rights as I do. i am very lucky to be born an american citizen, but I pay for it too.

what exactly is the point they're trying to make?
knowing that you can find someone in 9.75 acre mostly-paved park??
or is it to just bring the issue of illegal immigrants to the forefront? honestly, they could have done this in a more productive manner 
they're parents paying all that money in tuition must be VERY proud

I agree...just imagine it being one of your family members they were hunting - would you still find nothing wrong with it?
These are college kids we are talking about - who OBVIOUSLY do not know how to act mature otherwise they would have a more civil and adult way of going about protesting immigration...not a "man hunt" game that I played when I was 10...

I know they are tagging each other. What fun! It's still repulses me. Certain types of games just aren't funny.
As for rights. I don't think its fair, but I don't think we should take it away from them either. We are a melting pot and this is the "land of opportunity". How can you say that a child doesn't deserve the rights? I'm lucky to be born here too. Unfortunately, they weren't. We allow immigration. Until we come up with a better system to close our borders (on all sides), this is a problem we have to deal with.

It just amazes me that in NY, in (arguably) the center of the financial & cultural center of the US that the students could not find a more intelligent and productive way to get their message across. Granted, the tactic is working to a degree as we are here talking about it, but I always have a tremendous problem with the delivery outshining the message.
It is like those "Truth" commericals, for example. They find a very clever but relevant way to get the message across. It grabs your attention but does not do so in a manner where the message gets lost.
