I have had words/crossed opinions with people on both websites. but I don't really take it into the next day.

I could post on the thread of someone I "argued" with yesterday, b/c for me, once it's over, it's over.

Unless i have to block you from fm'ing me. then, I just don't want to hear from you.

ETA: I differentiate holding a grudge and forming an opinion.

I may form the opinion that your are an asshat, but I won't actively harbor ill will.

nope... not at all.

i'll go head to head in a debate w/ someone on one thread, and give them hugs, if needed, in another.

i leave it on the thread.

But, i know there are some people that i will never see eye to eye with...still, no grudges... my memory sucks and i always forget to hold the grudge, anyway

no, i dont take anything on here seriously enough to hold a grudge. thats just silly IMO.

everyone's entitled to their own opinions, thats one of the things i love about these sites.

When it's a respectful debate? Never. I actually admire the people on here who challenge my ideologies and give me a totally new perspective on something.

But, there are two posters who took it to a different level - ridicule, derogatory comments and just total disrespect, and yes, when I see their posts, I automatically have a bias.

Nope, no grudges. Gotta just let things go.

I have had some throwdowns on here, but in the end it has always been agreed to disagree on that topic and move on.

I have even FMed some to ensure they feel the same way.

I only hold grudges when I feel personally wronged
very rarely happens on here...actually just once that I can recall

I don't hold grudges.

I read a lot more than I post and I have developed opinions on some posters. Some people I mentally agree with most of what they say. Some people, I barely CARE what they say because they are so messed up that I know I am going to disagree with them.

So I would say that 99% of the time, I stay out of the drama but I have my opinions whether I voice them or not.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me when someone disagrees with me. I will still post on their threads and maybe even support an opinion that they have.

HOWEVER… I admit that when someone is particularly filled with vitriol it colors my opinion of them overall.

I was wondering if people did this as well.

I don't. Each post is individual to me. I haven't argued with anyone in the past, at least I don't think I have. I don't mind a debate and talking back and forth on a topic I don't consider that an argument.

Also, I don't notice people's "patterns" unless they are VERY obvious. And, if I do notice a pattern beginning I don't use it against them, I will still reply to each thread.

I'd have to care enough to hold grudges against posters on this site. I've never met in person 99% of the people who post here so to simply base what they say on a basically anonymous message board is somewhat short-sighted IMO.

I mean sure there are people here who I have disagreed with in the past (you being one of them, Jess) but to hold a grudge? It's just not worth it to me.

Of course I may joke about later on with some of the people that I am friendly with here or someplace like myspace (with a comment on one of my friends pages) but generally that's about the extent of it.

Another thing I try to avoid in addition to holding grudges is name calling.

Life is just too short to sweat anything that goes on here or anywhere on the internet for that matter. At least that's my opinion...
