I have a list of everyone I have ever held a grudge with.
I just pictured Steve Buscemi in Billy Madison.
wearing lipstick and holding a rifle.
I'm glad you don't have a rifle.
you don't have one, right?
boy, im glad I called that guy!
Classic!!!!

I don't hold grudges.
But there are a few people that have gotten under my skin. The next time it happens I just think it's typical.

If the poster stuck to the topic at hand, no I don't hold grudges. To be honest, I can't keep a lot of posters' sn straight.
If they make it personal, stalking my posts (or in one case, my friend's post) to cause drama, then I hold a grudge.

As someone else said, if the person kept it to an intelligent debate, then there is no reason for a grudge. If they insulted me, attacked me or brought up things about me that had nothing to do with the topic at hand, then I avoid them for future discussions.

no way, if you put a bunch of women together of course there will be disagreements, especially with topics that we hold dear to our hearts. This site if full of really nice, supportive women, I can;t think of 1 person who is a current member who I don't care for

I'd have to care enough to hold grudges against posters on this site. I've never met in person 99% of the people who post here so to simply base what they say on a basically anonymous message board is somewhat short-sighted IMO.
I mean sure there are people here who I have disagreed with in the past (you being one of them, Jess) but to hold a grudge? It's just not worth it to me.
Of course I may joke about later on with some of the people that I am friendly with here or someplace like myspace (with a comment on one of my friends pages) but generally that's about the extent of it.
Another thing I try to avoid in addition to holding grudges is name calling.
Life is just too short to sweat anything that goes on here or anywhere on the internet for that matter. At least that's my opinion... ITA.. Well said

Re: what the hey...spinoff Do you hold "drama battle" grudges?
I've always said that I hold grudges, generally - on and off the boards. But when I say that, I mean that I have a long memory for slights against myself and others.
It goes back to that whole, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." thing.
I don't enjoy having my kindness being taken advantage of so I keep negative dealings in the back of my mind.
If that becomes a pattern, or I notice that I'm not the only person being treated poorly, the "grudge" starts. If you want to call it that.
Everthing that's negative after that only reinforces my opinion and makes it easier to ignore the SOS.

Re: what the hey...spinoff Do you hold "drama battle" grudges?
Disagreements, differences of opinions or even flat out arguments don't bother me at all. That's what happens on forums such as these. However, when the above takes on a condescending, disrespecful, patronizing, superior tone, that's where I have a problem. Disagree with me all you want. Point out if I made a mistake or inadvertently offended you. Just do it in a civil manner. Not because I am older than most here; but, because I am, simply, another human being and would like to be spoken to in the same manner you would like to be. If you approach me in anything less than a civil tone, don't complain when I come back at you and become sarcastic and derisive. You get what you give. I won't hold a grudge, but, I won't back down, either.
