When he actually wants to cuddle anymore (he doesn't usually), but there are rare moments he'll be sitting up on my lap and he'll lean back and nuzzle his head back in my arm and I ask him if he wants to be mommy's little baby again? I cry every time he does it because now he's walking himself all around and I see how fast he's becoming a little boy and he's not a baby anymore. It's bittersweet. Oh, that and Law & Order reruns, I used to watch them at night when I was up bfing every 2 hours and he took an hour to bf.

The song that plays on the Infant Papasan....I hear that damn song and I am immediately transplanted to my couch at 3 am praying he would sleep!!

I also cherish the Miracle Blanket both my DS used. I will never throw that away since It brings back so many memories.

whenever I am up late at night and there is nothing on tv, I watch Nick at night and those shows always remind me of the middle if the night feedings, that is what I would watch

Theres a song by Plum called "In My Arms" Reminds me of the last weeks of my pregnancy & little Anthony's first few weeks.

Also.. Everytime I'm in the supermarket & I pass the formula section!

Bon Jovi's song "Gonna make a memory" (or something like that). I remember it just coming out and they were on all of the morning news shows performing and I'd be rocking her back and forth, and she was just so little and sweet.....
I cry every time I hear that song. Literally cry....it was just such a special time!

to add another.. i was reminded last night of when he was a newborn as he was up every 3 hours all night long... and all he wanted was to cuddle with mommy... but it refreshed my memory because he was screaming for a half hour and dh was home and the two of us sat there trying to figure out what was wrong.... kinda reminded me of the first few nights (is he wet?? maybe he is hungry??? maybe we should try this or that.....)

a bugaboo bassinet. the babies inside are always so tiny.

a nursing mom in public. this use to send me into a panic...tryng to find right spot, right position. then i feel bad for them. then i feel bad for me when they are nursing number 2 yelling at number 1 to get back over here.
also little house on the prairie.
that was our midnight thing. watched the entire series

I still have their receiving blankets from the hospital. So everytime I look at them, it reminds me of the first day I took them home

The music from her papasan swing. I'm getting ready to dust that swing off for DS and I just keep thinking of her in that swing-so tiny she looked that she was being swallowed up by it and that peaceful music as she slept

When i put DD on my chest (where she likes to sleep) and she snuggles her head into my chest...she did then when she came home form the hospital.

I took a picture of DS with my cell phone the morning after he was born. I took the picture and sent it to DH at 6:30 am with the message: Good Morning Daddy.

When DH woke up, that is the first thing he saw that morning.

We both still have it on our phones.

FloRiDa's "Low" song. That Apple Bottom jeans song was on ALL THE TIME when Athan was a baby and as soon as it would come on I would sing it to him and do my little "low, low, low" dance with him in my arms. I love FloRiDa becasue of that song and the memories of my little baby.
