When I was a kid (under 10) my parents would take me twice. Once right after school for a short time. Then again after dinner.

Once I became an awful teenager I would just go with friends once it got dark.

In my neighborhood, I just remember going after 9 was BAD! We went around 7. I remember in elementary school, there was this wretched kid (who later ended up becoming a sex offender who would crawl into girls windows and use chloroform on themChat Icon ). Anyways, this kid went out alone after 9 and the older kids in the neighborhood took him and locked him in a cage with some big dog. He was all torn up when he came to school the next morning.
