What time does (or did) your 3 month old LO go to bed and wake up?
DD was going to sleep between, 7-8, waking to feed around 3-4 (sometimes 430) and going back down till 7-8- usually totalling about 12 hours..
Lately, she's been getting up earlier. This morning she was up at 5 I gave her back the paci, rocked her, nursed her, she drifted back off but was up again ready to play.
I'm not sure if we should try and make her go back to sleep longer OR put her down later.
I have Healthy Sleep Habits and The Baby Sleep Solution, and I am not opposed to the CIO methods (or similar ones) but not ready for that yet since she goes down very easy and sleeps for a nice stretch.
Just wondering what everyone else's experiences were. TIA

Re: What time does (or did) your 3 month old LO go to bed and wake up?
DS is 5mo, but since 3mo he's been going down between 8-8:30 (no matter what, even if he took a really long afternoon nap, he is ALWAYS tired around 8). He usually wakes up around 6:30-7 (he STTN). Every now and then he'll wake up super early, but I just leave him to "talk" and eventually drift back to sleep. If he wakes up crying, it's a telltale sign that he's not ready to be up yet.
Hopefully that past few days have been fluke for your DD.

Re: What time does (or did) your 3 month old LO go to bed and wake up?
At that age, my son was going to bed around 12 or 12:30 (it's what fit best with our schedules) and he would sleep until about 10:30 or so. When he was 3.5 months, I went back to work (he came with me to daycare) and he quickly went to a very different schedule. He went down around 9:30 and would wake up around 7 and that's what he's been doing ever since. You could definitely try putting her down later if she will have it, and see how that goes! It all falls under the "trial and error" portion of parenting, IMO. GL!

Re: What time does (or did) your 3 month old LO go to bed and wake up?
This is my son.... once he started STTN he would wake up about 430am... then it moved to 530am (but I woud let him come to bed with us and most of the time he would sleep another hour). He was going to bed around 8, couldnt get him down earlier because of his last bottle.
Now at 8 months he is t starting to sleep until 615-630am. Now he is in bed by 630-7 (he is ableto take that last bottle earlier).
I still dont give him a bottle until 7am
It may be how your DC is. Mine is an early riser, but so am I and DH. I was always up at 7am on the weekends before kids

About 7:30 to 7:30 with a feeding around 5am.
In my experience, putting them down later has no effect. If anything, putting them down earlier worked better...go figure.

Re: What time does (or did) your 3 month old LO go to bed and wake up?
DD usually goes down right after her last bottle which is between 845 and 9pm and sleeps until 9am (she STTN).
I agree with PP, putting her down later has no effect unfortunately. She's actually just crankier b/c she's so tired.
