What to add to French Onion Soup to make a meal?
I am going to make the Barefoot contessa's FOS for dinner. What should I add to it for a full meal? Salad? What type? TIA

I usually do a panini.
and,
we get two bowls each.

Whenever I make a soup that I know is going to be kinda heavy, I usually just make a spinach salad on the side with craisins, some kind of nuts, red onion and fresh warm bacon.

Thanks for all the great suggestions ladies! Ophelia thanks for turning me on to the recipe I ended up making an herb and mixed green salad with tomato and some blue cheese crumbles with balsamic.
