What to expect at 1st doctor's appointment?
I'm going for my bloodwork tomorrow to test my levels of HCG and progesterone, etc..when I spoke to my doctor he said to do that ahead of time so we have the results for my exam..
My first appointment is a week from today  I'll be 6 weeks 4 days.
What happens at the first appointment if I'm doing my bloodwork early?
Will I be able to hear a heartbeat, or will it still be too early?

At my first appt they did an internal sono and I saw and heard a heartbeat. I was 6 weeks 4 days.

I had a regular gyno exam- pap, breast exam etc
Then an internal sono- I was 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat then.

I went in at 5wks 3 days for a urine test and then I was sent for blood work. I went back at 6wks 5 days and had an internal sono and saw the heartbeat.

You won't be able to hear the heartbeat but you will be able to see it, its like a little flickering dot, it is sooo small...I was 6w5d at my 1st appt.

Ditto this. We also heard the heartbeat as well.

My first appointment was at 4 weeks where they took blood to check my hcg level and they also did a pap/pelvic exam and breast exam.
My next appointment was at 8 weeks where they did an internal sono and we saw and heard the heartbeat They also took like lots of blood.

You MIGHT be able to hear it.
With DD we heard the HB at 7w4d, but with this pregnancy I was 6w2d and we were able to hear it.
Also, please keep in mind, that you could also be a bit earlier than you think and may not see anything other than the sac and yolk sac.
My first appoitnment was a regular gyno exam, plus lots of bloodwork. My OB does not do sono's in her office, so I didn't get one until my NT scan at 12 weeks (however, I had already had 5 sonos prior since I was under the care of an RE)
