What to save and what to toss for future DC?

I'm trying to figure out what I can put into storage soon and what I will throw out.

I'm getting rid of used pacifiers. What about ones that were never used?

I'm keeping bottles, but getting rid of used nipples. What about bottle nipples that were sterilized but not actually used? What about ones that were used a handful of times?

If you pumped, did you keep everything except the membranes?

Will you buy new sippy cups, plastic spoons, etc for future DC?

If onesies or other clothes had slight stains, did you toss them?

Did you clean toys, bouncer, exercauser, etc before storing them? If so, what did you use?

Was there anything else you got rid of?

I knew I wanted 2 under 2 so I kept EVERYTHING - to me, it was worth saving and now I just toss something if I find it's not worth re using.

As far as the big toys, we had the exersaucer/jumperoo shoved in a closet until we had our attic made. Now that stuff is in large garbage bags and up there for the next couple of months until Colin starts using them.

Thanks! I thought I had read something about platic degrading over time so I wasn't sure whether certain things should be tossed.

I would keep it all if you plan on having the second one within two years. For my second child I bought new bottles(the old ones had the BPA in them anyway), pacifiers and bibs. I had a boy so I had to get different clothes but if it was the same sex, I would have gotten rid of all clothing that was even slightly stained.

For the exersaucer, swing and bouncer, I took off the cloth stuff and stored that in my closet but put the plastic parts in the garage. Its gets so dirty in there I didn't want them to get ruined.

We tossed all nipples, membranes and soft plastic bottles. The plastic degrades over continued use. Frankly, I plan on getting DD new sippys when the time comes. I have replaced valves for DSs sippys that he still uses. They just get yucky after continued use. I also got rid of clothing with stains. I felt like why store it if I knew I was not going to put another child in it. I donated what I knew we would not use. I got rid of the infant car seat and his tub. The tub I hated and the car seat I knew someone who desperately needed one. Now that we have two children and we are done I am giving some stuff we are done with to friends and keeping other things at my parent's house for my siblings in the event they have DC of their own.

I tossed all pacifiers. Kept all bottles (But I had just bought new BPA free ones two months before I took my son off the bottle)

Clothes - anything stained - even slightly was not saved.

Toys - big things saved. Exercauser, Swing, bouncy, Highchair.

The small toys are still floating around my house unfortunately.
