This map shows the power outages. MIL is in Smithtown and noone has power out there. (She'll be staying with us a while.)

Family in Merrick has no power and hasn't had it for the majority of the day! I have invited them over to at least sleep in AC and hot showers, but they're not taking.

i'm in farmingdale and have had power all day. although we just got our cable and internet back!
my family in seaford has power, but friends in wantagh, westbury and glen cove do not.

Parents in Valley Stream have no power. (since about 9 am) Dh, the inlaws and I have power in Lynbrook. We lost power from early am to noon. We don't have the pool filter plugged in due to power issues.

Just got our power back, Western Suffolk NS. But it did flicker again just now so I am expecting it may go back off.
Very windy still out there.

My sister is in West Bay Shore was out for about 6 hours but she's been back up since the late afternoon. Bunch of folks in West Sayville are still out.
I'm in Sayville and have had no interruption.

I have power on my street in Holbrook, but there is an entire section of streeta behind me who are out. I am so thankful we have power.

Yes me too but the wind is worse now than ever!
I'm fear it will go out with these gusts! 
ETA I was suprised how little rain we got here.
Channel 61 said Isllip MacArthur only got like 2.9 inches?
Seems very low.
I was worried about the pool overflowing but it barely went up at all- and the streets are bone dry right now- so bizzare!

We lost power at 2 am last night & got it back around 2pm today. However, our neighbors behind us are still out in Lindenhurst.
