What type of answering machine do you have?
I was using my digital answering machine this morning, and was reminiscing about the tape answering machine I had years ago.
Does anyone still have a tape-based answering machine?
Some people have off-site voicemail. I think the phone company stores your messages on their machines, and you dial a number to get your messages.

Other? I put the option down because it's always needed, but what other is there? I guess "None" would fit into "other", since I realize that I forgot that option.....

We use a digital, but i still have the tape machine from my parent's house because my late dad's voice is still on the tape.

ours is voicemail through Fios. all we do is dial our home phone number and we can get the messages.

We setup our Optimum Voicemail to forward to our email addresses as an attachment. Makes it so convenient!

we have a digital answering machine.. but we rarely get calls on our land line anymore. everyone calls our cells and leaves messages there now.

Digital. We had voice mail but went back to the answering machine because I always forgot to check it. Now the answering machine's light reminds me.

We have voicemail through the phone service. However, we just bought a phone that comes with a digital answering machine, so I might switch. I hate having to dial into the voicemail. Then again, almost no one calls our land line.
