what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?
I have 2 tops moments:
1. To not listen to people who told me I would never be a good PE teacher and went back for my masters anyway.
2. Trusting my DH (when we just started dating) and learning that not all men are the same!

1) joining eharmony - thats how I met DH.
2) Leaving teaching. I was miserable. I am so much happier now!

Deciding to try for a baby only three months after our wedding. We couldn't wait to be parents and although we were nervous about finances, timing etc. it was the BEST decision ever!!

Going to college 7 hours away from "home". It was rocky at first but in the end, the best decision I ever made.
Now this is so far in my life....I havent had children yet.

Deciding to transfer back home to school from a school that I really wasn't happy at. People thought I was crazy because everyone loves the school I went to....and because I was transferring as a senior which was pretty unheard of. I may not have gotten the degree from the Big Ten school, but I ended up being able to spend the last few months of my granmothers life close to her AND I ended up meeting DH (which wouldn't of happened had I not been home)

Having gastric bypass surgery almost 4 and a half years ago was the best life-changing decision I ever made. I lost 115 pounds and reclaimed my health and my emotional stability. I kept off the weight and have had zero complications.

leaving my old job even though i had no other job lined up. i took the risk cause i was sick of being miserable and working for a man who treated me like cr@p! i went out, got my real estate license and never looked back!!!
i even recently started my own company and am loving it!!! i'm kinda thankful to my old boss for treating me like dirt...cause if he didnt, i would still be there and i would never have known my true potential!

1 - going to a different college than my twin.
2 - going to Mexico to work in an orphanage. It made me grateful to be able to be a part of someting bigger than myself, my friends, my job, etc.
3 - Leaving the law firm I was working out to work as an event manager.
4 - Deciding to have a child & then deciding to have another one.

- Calling off my first engagement.
- Transferring schools my first year of college, despite people telling me I didn't give it enough of a chance. If I didn't leave I never would have met DH!

Not getting married to my ex fiance.....though he broke it off, there have been many decisions that went along with that. Though the breakup was extremely hard and I still have hard moments to this day (he had been my best friend since kindergarten and it was just too hard for me to ever communicate with him in the near future after the breakup) it was probably the best thing that ever happened. I would've been in a marriage that probably would've ended shortly after it began  But it's okay!! Now I can be happy and wait for the right guy to come along
