Re: what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?

To divorce my first husband. My life did a complete 180 in a short time. While it was slightly sad it was the best present I ever gave myself!!

Breaking up with ex even though I loved him. Had we gotten married, I'd be divorced now, I'm sure.

Same here. It was the toughest decision I've had to make so far, but absolutely the best for me in the long run.

2nd would be letting myself fall in love with my DH. That was an "easy" life changing decision though. I learned to like myself, and I liked who I was when I was with him. The rest is, well, history in the making. Chat Icon

Re: what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?

Deciding to have a second child, I had one already from a previous relationship and didn't want anymore.
Then, I was doubly blessed and had my 2 angels. Best decision I ever made.

Re: what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?

1. Meeting and marrying my DH (that's a given)

2. Switching from one dept to a brand new dept in the same company. I was stressed because it was new. But it has been the best decision!!

Going with my gut and leaving my house to experience life with the man of my dreams. It was the best decision I have ever made, we are now living happily ever after. We've been together for almost 9 years, and still going strong!!! I love you Babyboy! Chat Icon Chat Icon

To move out on my own (well, in with DH). At that point in my life I needed to be out of my parents house.

Re: what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?

1. Going to my undergrad school. It gave me opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise professionally and it also provided the "friend" that set me up with my DH a few years after graduation.

2. Going on that blind date and agreeing to the second date before the first date had even happened. It set things in motion.

3. Saying yes of course to his proposal.

4. Leaving NY to be with him in NJ. I'm not prepared to say its the best "decision" but if it meant being with him, it is worth it.

5. Trying to log onto LIF at work today...since I was able to get in and answer this question!! Chat Icon

Re: what was your best life-changing decision you ever made?

1- moving out of my parents home at a youngish age - 22
2- living with dh prior to marriage - never an issue of adjustment it was just nice knowing we enjoyed living together before we were legally married!
