What week can you hear the heartbeat?

We saw a flicker on the screen at 7 weeks and heard the heartbeat at 8 weeks
Edit to add: to be honest at 7 weeks, I don't even think they had the volume on... They were just searching for the flicker on the screen so I don't even know if we would've heard it or not

At 5 1/2 weeks, we only saw a sac, we went back at 6 1/2 weeks and heard the heartbeat then

Saw the HB via ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days then heard it at 6 weeks via ultrasound. With te fetal Doppler it was at 11 weeks.

I guess it also depends on when your OB will see you. she wouldn't see me until 8 weeks, so that's when I got my 1st sono and heard the heartbeat.

What week can you hear the heartbeat?
Thanks for the replies! I asked b/c I was reading a website with week by week milestones and it said 9 weeks til you can hear the HB and I thought that was a bit late based on what I've read here and other places.
I'll be at least 7w1d at my first appt.

I think I was 7 weeks for the first sono and I heard/saw it (and recorded it!)

At 6w there was no HB. My dr had me come in the following day to try again and there it was. 6w1d was the magic day.

Usually somewhere between 6 and 7 weeks you can see it on an internal sono, and hear it faintly.

our doc wouldnt do it before 12 weeks. but we have a doppler at home and heard it at 11.
