The Outsiders is that too old? It was one of the only books I actually enjoyed that we had to read in school.

I read babysitter's club, sweet valley twins, also loved the saddle club books.
I also loved books by christopher pike.

the Ramona books Trixie Belden books Nancy Drew The Bobbsy Twins Encyclopedia Brown Sweet Valley High (I got into the Sweet Valley Twins, but after Sweet Valley High and I was really getting a little too old for them)
I really loved to read almost anything though.

& remember those books where you could choose the next step, I forget what they were called. (choose your own adventure books or something like that)
Choose Your Own Adventure. Yup!! I'm pretty sure that was what they were called. i loved them. I remember on having to do with the old west - Dead ??something I think. And one about an old house on a hill. So much fun!
And i loved Amelia Bediala too!
