I'm kind of in limbo with #2 on the way and being on disability but if I was working FT I would be employed and not really concerned about my job. I do plan to go back PT at some point and don't think I'll have any issues.

employed but concerned about layoffs. I think I always will be though. having been laid off in the past has made me very paranoid!

Employed. (not really worried about layoffs- my job isn't really driven by or dependant upon the economy).
Also, going back to school (still deciding whether it will be in '09 or '10- leaning towards '09) and starting a small side business, but that's more of a 5 year plan.

I'm employed, but I'm a substitute teacher, so I don't make a whole lot. DH is unsure about his job situation in the next few months.

The owner of the company got really upset with me on Friday for failing to deliver on promised system for reporting our numbers. He really upset me - but then he told me that I have job security in that he would never fire me unless the company itself folded. He went so far as to to say he would give up the lease and start from scratch in his basement with me and the managing partner (his BIL). So while it's possible the company could crash and burn - it is not probable. So at least that's some comfort.

Employed but was warned they will be laying 60 people off.

I'm the highest paid person in my department & I've worked there for 10 years, I'm moderatly concerned about being laid off. It happened to me in the early 90's when the economy was terrible.
My Dh is in a field that relies heavily on people making money, credit & the real estate market. We are very concerned because more than half of the people he does business with are out of work already. We are preparring for a worst case scenario all while trying to stay positive

Employed. I am not *too* worried about my job, but working in banking is scary these days. Luckily no talks of layoffs.

I am employed..work for a Fashion company.
My boss got laid off last week, and I'm upset.
New boss hired for less money starts tomorrow!!

employed and working 2 jobs.
I think I am OK for now...one job is project based, so I know that is going away in a few weeks anyway...
the other is super busy right now but a very small company....so you never know.
