When are you supposed to ..........
1. Start registering?
2. Start prepping the nursery?
3. Start looking for a pediatrician?
4. Start looking for daycare?
I feel like I have so much stuff I need to do for this baby and I hate to be 'behind'  I'm only 12 weeks .........

I am 19 weeks and researching daycare now I have my level II on Oct 16 and probably that weekend we will register, I want to have it done before the holidays start

Haven't started that yet (I'm 28 weeks)
3. Start looking for a pediatrician?
We decided around 20 weeks, I knew who I wanted to use, so there wasn't much to this one for us.
4. Start looking for daycare?
Decided on this around 20 weeks as well, although I started looking and calling/interviewing earlier, probably around 12 weeks.

I say it's totally up to you!
I'm just about 22 weeks and haven't done any of that!
I wanted to add, that aside from painting the baby's room, the nursery will not be done until after she is born and is at home. I will not be bringing anything baby related into the house until then. I'm also not having a shower, so I'm really in no rush to register.

the daycare thing is the one I'm most concerned about - so maybe I'll do that firts -
Registering and the Nursery are all on me and DH, and I can easily get Ped recs from friends/family - but no one I know in my area (Massapequa) uses daycare ...........

Um, you have time.
1- we did after level II. We did not find out the sex, but we figured that was a good milestone to gauge it by
2- as soon as the we ordered the furniture DH did the floor and painted. I was about 24 weeks when he did this
3- I was very bad, I did this after DS was born. I put it off too long & then went on bedrest at 32 weeks & could not go to offices
4- I did this at about 5 mos PG. Many places that take infants have a wait list.

This was my timeline. 
1) Started my registry right after I got my results from the Ultra Screen at 12 weeks. Finished it up by about 20'ish weeks.
2) Started the nursery around 18 weeks because we had lots to do. Finished it at about 32 weeks. We took our time.
3) Found our pediatrician at about 32 weeks.
4) No day care.......staying home.
You have plenty of time. Good luck!!

I did mine two months prior to due date (but she was early)
3. Start looking for a pediatrician?
I got my interview the WEEK OF birth!!!
4. Start looking for daycare?
I looked around and got on a wait list in MARCH for a January drop off!

With first pregnancy:
1. i think it was about 3 months before due date.
2. 1 month before due date.. I was a bit nervous to get things ready .. just incase.
3. didnt look, asked my Ob for recommendation.. ended up leaving that practice after 5 months and went to my sisters.
4. Dont use daycare, so didnt look.

I don't think you can start looking into day care too soon. It's not an issue for us but I know some friends who had a problem with space at the place they chose.
We registered at around 20 weeks
Nursery is still a work in progress at 32 weeks. I'm hoping to have it done next weekend.
We started interviewing peds at 30 weeks. Still have not settled on one.

I started registering at 18.5 weeks. I had an anatomy scan at 16 or 17 weeks, but not a Level II. We weren't finding out the sex anyway so it didn't matter when I started the registry. I probably would've waited a few more weeks, but I was going on vacation and my mom was pressuring me to register (knowing her, she sent out the shower invites way in advance and wanted my registry to be done before the invites went out).
2. Start prepping the nursery?
I haven't done that yet. We haven't even picked out furniture although the bedding set arrived today. I won't have the furniture delivered until after the baby is born anyway. As long as everything goes well, we're moving next month. The only thing that will be done before the baby arrives is painting the nursery.
3. Start looking for a pediatrician?
I haven't done that yet either. Now that we know where we're going to live, I'll probably start looking into pediatricians over the next month. I wouldn't worry about this until you're 7 or 8 months.
4. Start looking for daycare?
CT may be different than LI. A few weeks ago I began calling licensed daycare centers. Most, if not all, of them have openings for when we'll need daycare (in 6 months). I have to start scheduling some tours soon.

2. Start prepping the nursery? 5 months for both. Both rooms needed a complete overhaul and our furniture took weeks and weeks to come in so we ordered that pretty soon.
3. Start looking for a pediatrician? Right before he was born.
4. Start looking for daycare? When I was about 5 months PG

My husband is doing the nursey and he "doesn't wanna hear about a deadline" 
But if December comes around and nothing is done, all hell will break loose!!!!!!!!!!!!
I started registering at 9 weeks, I was too anxious and I couldn't wait...lol
I will start looking for daycare once the Spring comes around, the baby will only go to day care in September. I am sure I'll start looking for a pediatrician right before the birth, so sometime in December.

With DS:
We registered after our Level 2.
We prepped the nursery the month before he was born.
We found a pediatrician the month before he was born.
We already knew which daycare we wanted before I became pregnant so I can't answer this question.

I started registering with my DS at about 16 weeks for the big items that I knew I wanted - and that weren't going to be gender specific (stroller, pack and play, swing, exercauser, etc) After my level two I did things geared towards boys (clothes, blankets, sheets, towels, etc)
I am a control freak and needed my nursery to be complete with furniture in before my shower. I was 32 weeks at my shower - and the room was done wayyy before then. I think the room was done when I was 25 weeks - and the furniture came at around 30 weeks.
I knew who my ped would be bc my cousin has worked there for years.
I am a SAHM so I can't answer that one!
You still have time so I wouldn't worry

Nursery was started after my shower (34 weeks???)
I knew who my ped was going to be.
I only worked PT the 1st 2 yrs, so he was with my mom. I will say that, currently at the school I work for- there is a wait list until JUNE
