use the points finder to figure out how many points in a serving of what you want to eat...

Re: when buying food on ww...
You want foods that are low cal, low fat and high in fiber. Things that are whole wheat are high in fiber. Breads that are light versions are good, whole grain pastas are better than the regular versions. Get the light juice versions instead of regular. Stock up on lots of veggies (frozen are okay!) and fat free dairy - yogurts, milk, cheese (although we get low fat because fat free cheese to me is gross ). You can get Boars Head deli meats - ham, turkey, chicken that are only 2 pts for 3oz. Do you go to meetings?

Re: when buying food on ww...
You definatly don't have to just buy WW food.
Some regular food is lower in points than WW food. For example: Kim's Light Bagels are 1 pt per bagel. WW bagels are 2 pts per bagel.
Like everyone else said- look for low cal, low fat, high fiber. Anything over 4g of fiber wont change the point value.
