DD was 8 weeks when we had her session with Summerlyn. She was SUPPOSED to have a newborn session but broke her collarbone during birth so it didn't work out that way.

She is now 6.5 months and we haven't gotten prof ones done since. I will probably make it a yearly thing for each birthday.

A year sounds good! I just wanted at least one nice family one when he was still somewhat of an infant...

I would do 6 months then. I was going to do 6 months with Lexi-Bella but her christening wiped me clean out of moneyChat Icon

I was thinking of going to JC Penny bc its cheap and still nice. I live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and there is one in Staten Island mall my aunt used to get pics done at.

$$ is an issue right now so i need to be frugal!

This upcoming May...DS will be over 2.5 by then.

We wanted to wait until he was old enough to be running around and playing.

Re: When did you? are you taking your first family photos.

We don't have any yet- atleast not professional ones. I plan to set something up with Lori in a few months. I don't want to do it while DS#2 is a baby, because I don't want him all floppy. I want to wait atleast until he's sitting up on his own. I'm thinking sometime in late summer. DS#1 will be close to 4 and DS#2 will be about 6 months.

Baby #3 is on the way and we've never done professional family pictures. I'm thinking of doing a newborn/sibling session when this one is born. But I'm sure I'll forget or get too busy!
