When did you change nipple size?
DD is 11 weeks and seems to chew on the bottle nipple and start and stop more than usual, so feedings take longer.
The only bottle that goes down fast is the morning bottle since she sleeps 12 hours without eating.
I don't see her necessarily s ucking harder or falling asleep which are the typical signs to switch.
Do you think its time to try a size 2 nipple? (I use Dr. Brown's)

I switched Molly to the dr bown size 2 nipples when she was only a month old becasue she was sucking so hard that she kept falling asleep and wasnt eating very well. Switching to the next size worked for us. I'd switch her if she seems to not be eating as smoothly as before. You can always go back to the size 1 if you find that the next size is coming out to fast for her.

I would just try switching, you will know if it is a good choice or not the first time. With DD we tried once and then switched back an then tried a month or so again and that time it worked. Sara was much older b/c I was BF for a long time.

Usually you change the size every 3 months. I am on 1's which came with the Dr. Browns bottles.
Just curios since Bridget & Alanna were born the same day. How much does Hannah weigh?

James was on size 2 probably around 2 months. It sounds like she could use the next size. You might as well try it and see how she does.

we just started using Level 2 nipples the other day because DS was sucking really hard on the nipple. It seems to be a lot better for him!

I changed Megan at about 2 months she was falling asleep and seemed to be getting frustrated.. now w/ the stage 2 she much more content.

I think you will know immediately after you try it. I gave her a level 2 and she looked like she was drowning in formula. I went back to 1's even though it seemed like she was sucking so hard on the 1's.
