It's funny it seems that lefties definitely would prefer their children to be lefty (despite all of our challenges hehe). What about you right handed people, would you prefer a righty or lefty 
My DS is going to be a lefty - he's 3 and prefers to hold a crayon and eat with his left hand. DH & I are both righty - I wish DS would be righty only because I'm concerned with teaching him how to write properly! I can just see how my letters will come out trying to hold his little left hand!
He prefers to do some other things with his right hand, like hold a bat and throw so we'll see what happens.
