When did you put DC in regular tub?

Every time, more and more, DS is climbing out of the infant tub, or trying to - standing up, etc. He's 11 months. I was thinking maybe time to move him into the regular tub with one of those sticky mats in it?

I've bathed my 2 yo. in the bathtub since he's been sitting on his own at 6 mo.

Honestly, I can't deal with cleaning and storing a bulky contraption in my small bathroom so as soon as DS can sit, our folding baby tub went into storage.

as soon as he could sit on his own.so he could take it with his sister...probably 6-7 months!?!? I forget

From birth. I hated baby tubs. I used a bath pad from birth until 4 months then switched to a bath ring at 4 months. By 8 months they were sitting in the tub with no ring or pad.

Around 5 months. Once I went to the regular tub I realized how much I hate the baby tub. I started him out in a lounge chair type thing that he sits in the tub. Then went to the seat till he was sitting on his own. I got the rubber mat and put it down each time

With my older son, 20 mos He never gave me a hard time about being in the little tub (within the big tub) and I was pregnant and then had a c-section when he wsa 18.5 mos so I wasn't about to press the issue.

With DS#2, about 10 mos when he was really steady sitting up on his own. Had to make sure he was good and ready b/c we bath the two together and you never know what may happen in that bathtub
