When did you start bathing in the big tub?
And what did you use? We are doing well, at 10 months, in the sink tub. DH wants to start using the bathtub. My legs won't let me do it because I can't bend and lift. (I have surgeries scheduled over the next few months to help my legs) Do we start now with DH doing tub baths and me doing sink baths? Or do we both continue sink? What do you use in the bathtub and what age did you start using it? I need help! TIA!

About 6 months. I used a bath seat until she was about 16 months old and then just a non slip mat.

I got one of those blow up tubs that fit inside the bathtub from Babies R Us. I used that until DS was about 18 months (probably started about 8 - 10 months?). He was afraid of the big tub prior to that.
Now we just bathe him in the big tub and he loves it

i guess im not the norm....
they went in the big tub right away. i didnt want to have to get them used to diff things wanted bath time to stay fun. i used the $5 bath seat thingy until that sat on there own then they sat on a rubber bath mat.

I just started using the reg tub. He loves it!! Its not the easiest b/c we have the glass shower doors...but I sit on the toilet and bend over into the tub. Good thing hes so little, it only takes like 3mins to soap him up so its not that that bad (for me). Charlie is 9 1/2 mos.

Kelly I put Olivia in the bathtub in her baby tub. I never put her in the sink. I wouls say whenever you feel most comfortable doing than do that.

At about 4-5 months, I started to use the inflatable tub in our big tub. So much easier and cleaner than using the sink! Both my kids used the inflatable tub until they were nearly 2!

well we started out with her baby tub in the big tub but that was a huge PITA so i decided to just put her in the big tub around 5 months

Same here except we used an inflatable tub not a bath seat at 6 months.

I'm not kidding, DD#1 stayed in the sink until 2 years old! I was pregnant around the time she would have gone in the tub and there was no way I was about to bend over that tub if I didn't have to. What's the difference--if it works for you and he still fits, he's getting clean one way or the other.

I bought the Noah's Ark inflatable tub from BRU and we're using that right now inside the big tub...
