Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

I was terrified for some reason and kept him in that little tub until 1 year but if I could go back, I would have just waited until he was a secure sitter and done it then

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

DS will be 7 months tomorrow.
We had that one (well, in blue Chat Icon )
I just switched a week ago to the blow up duck that some pple on here recommended. He's not sitting up too well so I don't trust him in the tub
I also don't trust his 2 yr old brother in the tub with him. LOL
We'll use the duck for a while now b/c he leans back in it comfortably and when he sits up well he'll have enough room.
He was getting way too big for the baby bath

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

DS was sitting at 5 months and well by 6 months so I moved him to the big tub at that point because its easier IMO to bathe him with his older brother.

Did you let him just sit on his own or did you use a ring or tub seat?

She has been sitting up very well now for a few months. She just started leaning forward (getting ready to crawl) and she has been falling onto her stomach a lot lately so I'm nervous about that.

I was wondering this too. We have the same tub but we use it without the sling. DD sits in it but she also tries to pull herself up on the sides to stand up. She's almost 7 months. I would just be afraid of her banging her head on the tub if we don't put her in a seat.

We switched from the PUJ tub in the sink to the Eurobath Primo tub (we put it on the counter) at just over 6 months.

I did the Eurobath tub until she was 1. I was so nervous about the big tub. she adjusted very well. Surprisingly, so did I.

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

I started using a bath ring at 4 months then started sitting him in a regular tub at 5 months. At that point he had been sitting steady for about 2 months so I wasn't worried of him getting hurt.

I had a similar tub and used it (without the sling) until 10ish months. After that, I bathed them in the kitchen sink. I hate reaching into the bathroom tub and I feel like they could go under in an instant. My DS is 15 months now and still bathes in the kitchen sink. I probably kept my oldest DD in there until close to two since I was pregnant with her younger sister until she was 20 months and I just couldn't fathom bending over the real tub at that time.

I never used the baby tub with either child. I would take them in with me, or give them sink baths. As soon as they could sit up I let them go in alone.

Same here, but we made the switch at just under 5 months. Our little, BIG guy was getting WAY too big for our bathroom sink!!!

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

We have that seat in blue for DS and we kept him in it until 7 months old. Now at 9 months we use the inflatable duck tub with no problems. I am not sure when I will put him in the tub with nothing else though.

We never used a bath ring or anything just a shower mat so they wouldn't slip. When they were younger I would keep the water level pretty low so that is he wanted to crawl his face wouldn't be near the water.

To me it was just easier and they have been bathing together since ds2 was 6 months old.

DD is 13 month and I still have her in the FP whale tub (with the little seat removed). She insists on standing the whole time, so she's not really cramped, but it's a way for me to keep her somewhat contained. She'd be walking all around the tub.

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

My granddaughter is 15 mos. and my daughter finds it so much easier bathing her in the kitchen sink than the tub. She has shower doors and it's very difficult and Kylie loves sitting in the sink. She puts a small towel down in the sink for her to sit on. I think she'll bathe her in there till she's too big to fit! It so much easier on her back than bending over the tub too.

Around 7 mos. I used the whale tub, then the blow up ducky, then once she was standing in the ducky and trying to climb out, I just put her in the regular tub.

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

I think I moved them to the reg tub around 6-7mo. I bathe them 1 at a time and would hold their hand the entire time. Never used any of those bath rings or blow up things.

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

At 10 months he is still in the whale tub but he is too big f or it, really. We are going to get the ducky tub. It is easier for us to bathe him in the living room than cram into the space by the tub, so we are holding out as long as we can.

Re: When did you start bathing your LO in the regular tub?

With DS#1... 10 months.

With DS#2... as soon as he can sit up unassisted. He's 6 months now... so any day! He splashes too much in baby tub and soaks me and the whole kitchen! LOL
