We told our parents when we found out and told everyone else when I was 14 weeks.

The first time I was pregnant, I told everyone at 7 weeks.


What a mistake! I miscarried a week later. I felt so stupid for telli ng the whole family.

This time I told my Mom, my sister and my brother right away, but did not tell the rest of the family until 16 weeks.

I told people at work around 17 weeks.

I think it's a personal choice and it depends on how your friends and family are.


I know it is so hard to keep it a secret because you are excited.

I wanted to hide it as long as I could at work, but then my students guessed at 9 weeks because they said I looked pregnant! I got SOOOOO bloated so early

Told our famiilies at Christmas around 8 weeks.

Had to tell some close friends the following week because we were in Jamaica.

Told the rest of our friends around 12 weeks.

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks (a few days after AF was late).

That weekend we told our parents and siblings..

After our 6 week appointment we told our best friends..

I'm 10 weeks today, and we told more friends/relatives/close family friends the past few days. We figured after having 2 great doctors appointments/sonograms we had the clearance we needed for peace of mind..

At this point, almost every one of our friends know (except for a few of DH's friends) which we'll be telling this week. We don't want any of our close friends finding out on facebook or through the rumor mill. For us, we want it to be everybody's news..and to be honest, now that alot of people know, we can have fun with this!! I hated having to hide my pregnancy.

Not sure if I'll even do a big facebook announcement-we'll see. Maybe if we did, we'd wait till after we got Ultrascreen results back, which would put us at 13 weeks by then.

I give so much credit to girls who wait 12 weeks or more to tell--I could never hold it in so long!

we told immediate family & my bffs after my fist appointment (8 weeks)

I told my boss and a few of my work husbands figured it out at 12 weeks, lol.

Most people found out after 12 weeks when everyone got the green light to spread the word - some people at work are just congratulating me now at 24 weeks (im obviously pregnant at this point, lol).
