When did you stop? (bottle Q)

feeding your DC the bottle, and just giving them the bottle to drink on their own?

My DS can hold the bottle on his own now. At daycare he sits with the bottle and drinks it on his own.

So at bottle times should i be just giving it to him?

Both my girls started holding it at 5 months so thats when I started. Brooke is 7 months and I still hold her(most of the time) while she eats but she holds the bottle herself.

For most of his bottles now he sits on my lap and holds the bottle himself.

Sometimes I prop him on the couch with his little legs on me - and he holds his bottle.

Only if he's really tired, lazy, or cranky does he make me hold it.

This has been going on for a few months now.

I fed DS all of his bottles until he was 11 months old and he stopped drinking them.

He COULD hold them, but wouldn't

He holds sippy cups all on his own.
