When did you stop doing the baby's laundry separately?
When can you start using regular detergent instead of baby detergent (like Dreft)?

We use the Tide Free so we do it together. I don't like dyes or perfumes on my clothes either.
But we do dry our clothes seperately since I don't use dryer sheets on her stuff.

#1 at 1 years old-only because of her eczema
#2-never used dreft, uses Tide Free or All free and clear since day 1 since that's what we use for #1 laundry.
I still do them separately from ours, well with 2 under 2, it's easier and i do their laundry twice a week in 1 full load each time.

same here.. i have allergies myself so this is what i use and fig why not.. did this at 3 months....
love the ALL free and clear.

with my first 2 kids I used baby detergent untill I big bottle ran out then I went to regular detergent. With baby #3 I always used regular detergent.

I only washed their clothes in Dreft for as long as the bottle lasted, then I just used whatever detergent we had in the house. It's usually Tide. I do their laundry in separate loads because their clothes are so small it would get all lost in our clothes.

I still do hers seperately just because I always have a full load of her clothes when I do. I use Tide Free on all of our clothes.

I've always used All Free and Clear--never baby detergent--and the girls' laundry is always separated from ours--it makes it much easier to sort afterward. In fact, I just started separating the girls' clothes from one another.

DD is 15 months and I still seperate and use dreft on hers.
Our ped. told us to use the baby detergent for the first year since regular detergent would remove any of the fire retardancy from the baby clothes.
I just like how it smells, so I will be sticking with it for a while - it is the same price for the big container at BJ's as the tide that I use for our clothes.

I do both the boys laundry together. I use All free and clear most of the time (I buy it when it's on sale). DH and I do our own laundry. It's easier for me to to the kids laundry separate from mine.
