When did you stop using gas drops/ Mylicon?

When did you stop using gas drops/ Mylicon?
Luca is 3 1/2 months and he has been using them from about a week old. Ped said I could take them away and just see what happens. Any experiences? TIA

We just stopped using them only because my mom watched the girls last week and my DH forgot to take the bottle of mylicon when he picked them up. I didn't get a chance to go out this weekend and get them. DD is 3 months and she seems to be doing ok without them.

how often do you use them? I was going to ask in a seperate thread but since the topic is here 
how much gas is normal? I swear, DS passes SO much gas ... all day long

how much gas is normal? I swear, DS passes SO much gas ... all day long
I put them in every bottle up until KJ was 6 months old
passing gas is great, means he will not have an upset belly

I did not put the gripe water in the bottle but gave it to him directly, as instructed on the bottle (not sure how often I gave the gripe water as I only used it for a few weeks about 7 months ago)
