When did you tell your families?
Aside from DH of course. I am 4 1/2 weeks and DH and I want to keep it a secret until 12 weeks. This is from everyone. I spent all weekend with my sisters and parents and it was so hard not to tell.

I told my immediate family right away. If we had a m/c, I knew I would need their support.

we told immediate family right away - and im glad i did becuase when i was bleeding and having complications - i needed their support - its not something i would have been able to do without them or hide from them!
extended family and friends we told at 12 weeks -

We told immediate family at Christmas and had wanted it to stay quiet until 12 weeks with everyone else. But someone in the immediate family spilled the beans for us the day after christmas

I basically handed my mom the pg test that said pregnant. We had wanted to keep it a secret from everyone else but I just couldn't keep it in! My DH is way better than me at keeping it a secret. I find myself telling strangers all the time

hahaha i did the same thing, i drove straight to my moms, then i told the lady at CVS hahaha

We really didn't have a plan. Then I got the BFP the week before Christmas when we were visiting my parents upstate. We let it sink in over the next day, and took 2 more tests. Then we told my parents. (I only see them twice a year, so I couldn't leave without telling them.) DH's family and the rest of my family found out when we saw them a week later on Chrsitmas Eve.
DH told his co-workers and friends nearly immediately and I told a few co-workers and friends around week 8, just after the first sono.

We told our families as soon as we got the BFP. I tell my mom everything, and knew that I would have 101 questions for her, and if something happened, I would need our parents support.

My best friends knew within a few days. Most family knew between 7-10 weeks.

my sister, i told as the line came up on the test. Our DD and the rest of our family i told at 8weeks, it was christmas day. Work i told at the end of 12 weeks.

We told our parents and siblings at 6 weeks - after seeing the h/b at the first sono. We will be telling other family members at about 8 weeks, and then friends probably b/w 10 and 12 weeks.

We told our parents as soon as we got confirmation from the doctor then everyone else about 10 wks work at 12 wks

We also found out the week before Christmas, and I was only 4 weeks at that point. DH and I each told one person...then we told our families on Christmas Eve / Day.
We told our friends after that and then I didn't tell work till I was almost 12 weeks....
