When do you plan on telling...
When you get BFP? DH is so supersticious so we waited till I was 12 weeks to tell immediate fam and 14 weeks to tell everyone else. I was so annoyed. It was great when we did, but the waiting was killing me. I had so many question and no one to talk to, which is why I love LIF.  
I think my fam figured it out. I turned down a glass of wine.

We are going to give each parent a Thanksgiving card on Thanksgiving that says Happy Thanksgiving Grandma/Grandpa
But same with me, turning down wine will def draw a lot of suspicion.
An out of town friend is stayin over this weekend, so I hope she doesn't get suspicious when I decline the wine haha

We're waiting 12 weeks. And if they ask me why I'm turning down wine and other foods, I'm simply going to say "new diet I am trying".

That's a good idea. Also, I turned down fresh squeezed OJ from Wegmans. I told my mom I wasn't in the mood for pulp and took Tropicana instead. That's when my sister had her suspicion.My mom didn't know... just the wine threw her off.

My friends know I love Kettle One and Cran when we're out. We had a friend's daughter's 1st b-day at a restaurant and it was still early so I had DH go get me a Spirte with a splash of Cranberry and a lemmon wedge. No one knew anything. They thought I was drinking.
It's actually pretty good drink

You could also just not be in the mood to drink. Nosey people. LOL.
People are busting my chops all the time these days. LOl, i wont order chinese food in front of other people either, if I say "no msg" they're all like WHY YOU PREGNANT???????

My close family (dad,mom, brother,sil's,mil,fil) right away.
Close friends, right away.
If god forbid something happened I would turn to these people so they might as well know.

well my mom knows...she saw us 2 days after we found out and she could tell  i was so exhausted that i was practically passing out at her house. she had seen me previously and i was the same way - exhausted. i was nervous about going there for dinner b/c i told DH that she was going to know just by looking at us. so she said, "are you sure there isn't something you want to tell me" and i couldn't lie...so i told her...i made her promise not to tell anyone else though..so she is the only person who knows - i think my friend might know b/c i emailed her the day before i tested and told her i thought i might be pregnant and that i was going to test - and then i never updated her i've been avoiding talking to her b/c i'm afraid she'll ask. i want to tell her so badly but DH made me promise not to tell anyone...i go to the doctor next week and depending on what we find out maybe we'll tell our parents and sisters...part of me wants to wait until 10-12 weeks but at the same time it's hard keeping the secret...

i told my parents and siblings right away... my mistake... because they told everyone...
next time i will tell my parents and ask them not to say anything... i will wait until there is a heartbeat to tell my siblings... and then 12 weeks to tell everyone e;se

i really cant imagine keeping the secret for 12 weeks from our parents. but we both would really want to wait the full 12 weeks before we tell anyone.
