when do you start looking into Day Cares?
My friend said I should start calling now b/c they book up quick for infants.
Im Due Nov.18th? 
TIA Just feel like it's sooo soon!! Im only 13 weeks!!

As soon as possible, youd be surprised how many have a waiting list or book up fast.
DS daycare started booking for Sept in February.

We put down a deposit at around 15 weeks.

I would start looking soon. I am not much of a procrastinator, I am the type of person who had their wedding planned a year and a half before the date.  I have heard, especially in New York, that there are long waiting lists for infants, and you want to have as many options for your little one as possible.

No laughing here-we had DD on lists since I was 4 months pregnant (would have been sooner but we relocated 1/2 through the pregnancy).
I got a call last month to tell me a spot opened up-DD is 21 months.

It's never too soon! Find a place or person you love and reserve a spot! I am due in August, but don't need daycare until November when I go back to work and we found our sitter in February!

Now! I was on a waiting list for a year. They had an opening about 6 weeks sooner than they originally told me.

I put a deposit down in August of 07 and DD wasn't started there until Sept of 08. SHe got one of the last spots in the infant room.

For DS, we started looking when I was 4 months and put a deposit down. For the new baby, we already reserved a spot and I'm 22 weeks
