When do you start using Elf on the Shelf?
I just found one in Target today! I am so excited! They only had a few left!
My DD is 6 so we should have done this years ago, but I think she is going to still LOVE it!
Anyway, when do you start doing it? Do you wait until after Thanksgiving? December?

We start after thanksgiving - so our little elf will be reappearing next friday. I am as excited as the kids are - I just have to remember where I hit him last year!!
I actually feel sad every christmas eve when I hide elfie away until the following year...sap!!

We decorate for Christmas usually Thanksgiving weekend. So that's when Elf appears.

DH and I are excited too. J isn't even going to "get it" this year. Maybe he will, though, who knows?

Mine shows up the morning after Thanksgiving and I saw a cute idea on pinterest of having him set up a santa breakfast with Christmas plates and everything so I think I am going to have to do that. Last year he was zip-lining across my kitchen when we woke up.
